The Economic Growth Model that we have been educated into and conditioned to believe as the only way to live on this planet, has become the biggest mistake, failure and disaster ever to be witnessed by the human race.

An economic model of life that teaches and encourages humanity to consume indefinitely, with no regard whatsoever to the delicate relationship with the environment upon which humanity depends in order to survive, has to be the most immature and irresponsible philosophy imaginable, as are the people who continue to promote this model – the politicians and policy makers. These are the people who have been elected to positions of leadership and authority in order to best serve us! In reality they are blinded into the economic growth model and become solely concerned with short-term gains and immediate profits for themselves and the few who wish to hoard as much material wealth as is possible. These are the most foolish of all for they haven’t realised that without a planet that continues to support their ability to stay alive, all the status, wealth and treasure in the world is completely useless!

Remember that the Economic Growth Model is just a model, that’s all. And one that has now proved, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that it does not serve 99% of humanity or the environment and planet upon which we all depend. It simply serves those few short-sighted, narrow-minded, childish, irresponsible, egotistical, superficial, power and wealth-hungry individuals who want everything for themselves, just like spoilt little children who never learned to consider others in their choices and without realising that if they keep taking everything then eventually there’ll be nothing left for themselves either. Wake up and grow up!

Therefore, it’s just a man-made model that didn’t work for the majority of people or their lasting wellbeing… and one that has definitely outlived its “sell by date”. It is now time to consider and implement quickly newer models of living – ones that actually work! Instead of a model that damages that which we depend on to the point where life for every person, animal, water source, tree and plant is completely threatened, we use a model that allows us to grow and express ourselves whilst at the same time work alongside or even enhance the natural world that supports all of life, then not only the minority can continue to benefit but everyone and everything! Plus future generations will receive a chance of living a healthy and worthwhile way of life, in other words… humanity can continue - your children, your grandchildren and great grandchildren will all get a chance at living a healthy and beautiful life.

Continuing the same is no longer an option! Leaders, policy makers, politicians, governments, economists, educators, teachers, industry have all truly and catastrophically failed us! It is time for people everywhere to wait no longer for others to take the lead; it is now our responsibility to begin steering this world in the only logical and healthy direction possible. Only we can do it, only we can take the lead to a better world. You are not alone, we are all in this together, everyone is equal and everyone has indeed a significant part to play in this transition and in the changes that are coming. It is time to be brave, time to be united, time for us to steer this planet in the only direction that makes sense and the only direction that our future generations would like us to lead it.

Mother Earth belongs to all of us. It’s time to get her back!

Sunday morning and I'm having my favourite breakfast again. It's my mixed fruit, nuts and seeds, coconut and delicious live yoghurt. It's so full of goodness and beauty with all those colourful chopped fruits in my bowl. The only problem today is - all the fruit has NO FLAVOUR WHAT-SO-EVER!!! What a disappointment!

When the fruit is good, this breakfast is nothing short of Divine, but it's March, the fruit's been shipped thousands of kilometers to get to my plate. Most of it has been picked unripe so it can survive the long journey, most of it fed with substances to make it look nice and grow big quickly, but unfortunately all of it lacking in any real benefit for my body. 

It has no nice aromas and NO FLAVOUR and therefore no real nutrition in there either - how can it have! I can't tell you what a let down this is for me. And if one thing is going to make me leave this modern way of life and go live on the land, it's the poor state of our fruit and veg the likes of which I've had to suffer most of my life. However I do remember the many trips to southern Italy as a boy with my family, all the big family meals outside, al fresco. All those tasy vegetable dishes, salads, rich tomato sauces, watermelons, peaches and of course... the villagers local wine! The food was absolutely delicious, most, if not all of it, grown locally and with loving hands - what a joy that was. 

Anyone who's ever grown anything in a garden or allotment knows the richness of flavour that is easily possible when you grow your food organically, naturally and with Love and can pick it yourself with joy and have it in your mouth within minutes. The aromas, the beauty and the flavours blow your mind and send your taste buds and emotions into ecstatic bliss everytime. You feed yourself with a smile on your face and feel joy inside at the true nourishment you receive. And you see it touches the whole of you, not just your body but your emotions, happiness levels, uplifting everything.

I Love that quote. Anastasia has provided a beautiful new model... a new way of living which seems to address all the imbalances and failures created by our modern way of life and existing model for society. Her model and vision is so complete that it not just tackles, but actually resolves so many, if not all,  the problems encountered by people in this modern way of life. 

It resolves unemployment, depression and people feeling hopeless with nothing to do... as there's always something to do when you live on land and have even just a garden to tend to; flowers to water and enjoy, birds to listen to, bees and butterflies to watch. You are able to feed yourself with whatever you wish to grow... all your most favourite foods right there on your doorstep just outside the beautiful home you created for yourself as did all your wonderful neighbours who you now know so well and who feel more like family. 

Then there's the fulfillment, the joy to your heart, mind and soul for becoming one with nature again and having created something good. It brings a peacefulness, relaxation, contentedness and more balanced pace of life that is rarely seen in the modern world.

And her vision so simple... no dogma, no belief system... just get on the land, create a Space of Love for yourself with your own vision and it will nourish you and uplift your life in every way... beautiful  :)
